This article helps our Volunteer Squad keep the database clean and consistent! It pertains to members who have Creator access and above. If you're interested in getting involved, read more about joining the Squad here. We'd love to have you aboard!

Pristine Auction has given hobbyDB access to a feed of the items they sell, which are mostly sports memorabilia and autographed items. Many of these items aren't yet in our database, so we need help from our Squad members to add them!

Any Squad member with the Creator role or above is welcome to help with this. Follow the steps below, and please feel free to ask if you have any questions!

  1. Curation menu > Curation Dashboard.

  2. Click the Take Listings button in the Price Points > Assign section.

  3. Select items you want to add.

  4. Click the Batch Actions menu, then click Take Items.

  5. Click the Assign button at the top right corner of the page.

  6. Click the name of the item to open the Pristine Auction listing page in a new tab.

  7. Create a new Database Item for the item and add any missing Subjects if needed. We have specific guidelines for certain item types below. If the type you're adding is listed below, follow the guidelines listed. Otherwise add the item according to the standard Database Item Conventions and guidelines for autographed items.

  8. Go back to the Assign page (should still be open in another tab).

  9. Search for the new Database Item.

  10. Click the Select button to assign the Price Point to the new item.

Set the Main Photo to the photo showing the full jersey on the side it was autographed. If there is a close-up photo of the autograph, set that as the Subvariant Photo.
