Setting Up URL Forwarding at Porkbun
Porkbun has made learning how to set up URL forwarding easy! Follow these simple steps or check out our article on how to set up URL forwarding and send all your Showcase and Marketplace visitors right where you want them: Log in to your Porkbun account and navigate to the Domain Management screen. Find your .link domain. To the right of the domain name will be a row of icons. Click the drop-down list labeled “Details” and select the "Edit" option next to “URL Forwarding.” On the Edit URL Forwarding screen, type in the subdomain you wish to forward from (leave it blank if you are forwarding from the root domain) and then the domain to which you wish to forward browser requests. Click the pink "Submit" button once you are done.
What Happens After My Free Year Ends
After a year, your .link will renew at a current, already-low regular domain renewal rate, which can be found at any time at Porkbun and is currently under $8 per year. Since every domain from Porkbun comes with free URL forwarding, you can continue sharing your Showcase or Marketplace with your personalized domain name for as long as you own it.
