All Database Items have as a standard field the Production Date. For items that are sold commercially, this is understood to start with the date that it is first made available for sale, either on the brand's website or elsewhere and ends when the brand removes the item from its assortment. The reason for that is that it is impracticable (and often not of interest) to track when the item was actually produced.
For limited or exclusive items the from and to date is generally the same (say March 2014).
