Once your store is set up by a hobbyDB admin, you can begin customizing your storefront and selling collectibles! There are 10 simple steps to setting up your storefront on hobbyDB. Feel free to watch the video or follow the picture guide below:
- Change your store name and description
To edit your store name and description, click “Edit“. Please note: If you change the name of your store, the URL for your page will also change to reflect that.
- Upload your logo
To upload or edit you store logo, click “Edit Logo“
- Add a cover image
To upload or edit your cover image, click “Upload Cover Image“

- Add new categories to your storefront
Click on the “Add New Category” button, to can add a new category by simply typing in a name
- Set Up Your Categories
Everyone likes to categorize their store in different ways. You can set up areas for particular brands, themes, scales, any way you want to sort your store items. To edit, add, and organize your categories, simply click on the “manage categories” button found in your list of actions at the bottom of your storefront page. Once there you will see a category wizard –
- Reorder your categories
Put your categories into a different order, by click the “Reorder Categories” button and then just drag and drop the specific categories that you’d like to change
- Visit your Selling Manager to set your shipping costs –
Click on “Manage Default Shipping Costs” to add shipping costs for specific areas all around the world. You can also select bundle shipping prices.
- Set your Shipping Zone Caps
Click on “Manage Shipping Zone Caps” to set a maximum amount that you will charge for shipping to a certain area
- Add any specific shipping notes
Click on “Manage Default Shipping Notes” to add any important information about your shipping process. For example, if you only ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- Set your PayPal email
Click on “Set Payment Email” to set your default PayPal email. This is how we will pay you.
